Marley and Me

The last book I read was Marley and Me. The author of the book is John Gordon. This book was published on October 18, 2005. I chose this book because I love animals. I knew I was going to enjoy this book when I saw the cover. This book was recommended to me by my grandma. I'm interested in mainly mystery or inspirational books.



The main plot of this story is about a family and their troubled dog, Marley. After Gordon and his wife Jenny got married they brought home Marley, a yellow lab puppy. From that day forward life would be different for Gordon and Jenny. He was a very mischievious puppy. He quickly grew to be a ninety-seven-pound dog, and even more destructive. When Gordon and Jenny wanted to start a family, would this make Marley jealous and be even worse? Even though he caused much stress in their household, he had a strong bond with Gordon and Jenny and their new baby. The story gets more interesting as it goes on in either the book or the movie. I would recommend this book to a family or people who love dogs.
